Welcome to Bridge Street Theatre

Welcome to Bridge Street Theatre, a new performing arts venue in Catskill, NY.

Bridge Street Theatre, Inc. is a non-profit corporation which last year purchased the factory building at 44 West Bridge Street in Catskill, NY. We are in the process of converting the building into a 72-seat theatre which will house productions by our company Kaliyuga Arts, will be available to other theatres and performing arts groups, and because of its location adjacent to Catskill High School, will be able to provide theatrical opportunities for high school and middle school students.

While the Mainstage is under constructions, we've converted the lobby of the future theatre into the Speakeasy where we've already played host to a exhibition of a monumental balloon sculpture called AVIARY (reimagined) and hosted performances of plays and music. To see what we've done already click on Archives on the Menu.  Click on What's Up for the upcoming events at Bridge Street Theatre.

On this website you'll find our mission statement, how we plan to convert this 12,000 square foot warehouse into a theater, before and after photos which show the building the way it is now and renderings of what it will look like once the proposed conversion is completed, and a description of the many ways you can help us make it a reality.  Please check Wish List for what we need or consider making donations of time or money - we really need your support for this to get off the ground. Thanks for visiting. See you at the theatre!
